Just a derpy, blue, husky photographer livin' it large in Southern California. I have been doing photography since December 2014 and have been shooting many different things from nature landscapes to fursuit portraits and dance competitions.
I was inspired to get into photography by my late grandfather who did photography as a profession. He would take me out to the local park and show me how to operate a camera and thought me the general basics of photography. To this day, I am thankful that he got me interested into photography. Without him, I would have never met the people that I know today.
I started doing photography on a Canon EOS XT with a 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS which was a hand-me down from my grandfather. I then upgraded to a Canon EOS 20D in December 2015 and then a Canon 7D Mark II in January 2016. In May of 2017, I made the huge step and upgraded to a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV.
I currently shoot photos with my furry counterpart ChatahSpots (http://www.chatahspots.com/). Him and I have been shooting photos together since May 2017 and have been going on many different adventures ever since. Some say that we are inseparable since we are always seeing each other multiple times each month just to take photos or videos. Currently Chatah and I are working in tandem to bring videos of our adventures for all to see.
And with every single adventure that Chatah and I have, I have been using what has been learned to everything that I take. I even pass some of that knowledge down to beginning furry photographers so that I can start to suit more rather than take photos.
Every now and then, I host local Southern California FurMeets with ChatahSpots and the local furs. Meetups are small and private but may open up in the future pending volunteers who can help with logistics.
